Monthly Newsletter
The primary way First Teacher keeps in touch with parents of children who have not yet entered kindergarten is through our newsletter. First Teacher discusses issues of parenting including discipline, raising self-esteem, taking care of your relationship with your partner, the importance of reading, preparing your child for a new sibling, health issues, children's activities, preparing your child for kindergarten and ongoing information about programs available to parents in our area. These monthly newsletters inform parents of school district parent meetings and other local programs available to families of young children.
